The artists at 6th Avenue Art Studios are happy to be a part of ART SPLASH; Mount Dora's Art Walk every 2nd Friday of the month. We will be open this Friday Nov. 11th from 6 to 8 pm. Come see my art work as well as art work by Heather Earnest, Cindy Anderson, Jennifer Ball, Michael Hawthorne, Gretchen Bies, Joyce Crabtree and Jan Krassner.
I have learned a valuable lesson about 12 part paintings. They look amazingly cool but galleries want to hang them about as much as people love the dentist. I've had 2 great 12 part paintings for a while now and when this one got into another show, I thought it might be time to rethink it. Fittingly enough, the piece is called Time to Think. I have mounted all 12 pieces into a board that I am floating 2 inches away from the wall. Voila! One piece. I love it! Can't wait to do the next one.

I am thrilled to be invited by Jackie Otto-Miller to participate in this show at the Anita S. Wooten Gallery at the Valencia East Campus. There are 26 great artists including Cindy Anderson, Ellie Diez Massaro, Kim Lemonakis Miller and Jamieson Thomas. Jackie was one of my painting professors at Rollins College and I can't wait to see the collection she has put together. All the work is under 16" in any direction. I plan on being at the opening on September 5th. The show begins today.

Fun new showing thanks to Frecklefoot Creative and Mosaic Hair Studio! Mosaic will be having an opening Thursday night, January 30th, from 7 to 9pm. The show will be hanging through the end of March. Come check out this fabulously cool place on Virginia Avenue in Orlando.
