No Guts. No Glory

What do you do with a beautiful painting that is just too big to handle anymore? Chop her in half! She's going to be so much better now. Thank you to all my fantastic helpers.

Putting on Her Finest, was 8' x 4', now 4' x 4'

Fun In Ormond Beach

I had such a great time teaching and sharing at the Ormond Art Museum this weekend. I am continuously amazed by the work that comes out during these weekends! Each artist's work comes out so differently and I see that as the greatest achievement. Each of us is on our own journey, bringing different experiences and passions to the table. I love that collage and pattern and color are as liberating for others as it is for me.  And I am so grateful for the reciprocated positive energies!

We will definitely have a master class up there in Volusia County- probably sometime after the workshop in New Smyrna on April 11-12. The prerequisite will be taking one of my 2 day workshops and we will focus on the drawing and painting parts of this process. Let me know if you prefer 1 or 2 days.  I will keep you posted about the where and when. Please keep emailing me or posting your new work on my art facebook page. I love to see what you are doing!

With much gratitude, Christine
