Pat Dinizio, lead singer of the Smithereens and my friend, passed away yesterday. He was a total sweetheart, an amazing singer/guitarist/songwriter and genuine lover of goofy things. He commissioned me to paint murals inspired by the Addams Family in his house and mural backdrops for the Smithereens inspired by the backdrop mural from White Christmas and the album Attack of the Smithereens. I will miss your crazy laugh Pat! Peace
